why
do i spend my days staring
out to the ocean thinking i'll see your little boat on the horizon? I should be doing
other things but no i wait i watch the waves lap the dock and listen to the seagulls mock. and sometimes when its cold, i let one tear drop add its salt to the ocean that took you from
me.

the rain aganst the sill makes a "Pitter Pat" like endless marching of wars long gone
